COMMUNITY PRAYER September 24, 2023
Together we pray . . .
Forgiving Lord,
Help us regain our first love for You. We have allowed our love to grow faint as we focused on other things that seemed important at the time. In the process, we didn’t notice that our love for you was no longer as it was at first.
Help us regain our first love for You. We have allowed other things to cloud over our initial enthusiasm and joy. Father, lead us back to the beginning, when our love was so strong. Lord, we choose today to passionately seek what we have lost: the love we had for you at the beginning. Help us then keep and honor our first love. Amen.
· We pray for Marcel's family members and others in Ukraine and Russia in dangerous situations during the war

- Libya suffered the loss of almost 12,000 people as flooding broke through some dams above a city, inflicting great damage in people near the dams. Please pray for God’s peace to cover the great sadness about such a loss, and for His provision for all of the needs in this situation. These are not people with a lot of resources for recovery.
- Morocco had an earthquake, and their buildings and houses were not built to withstand that kind of situation, so many people are homeless, and buildings are also down. The Moroccan government is being rather fussy about the source of help, and the limitations are making it harder to recover. Please pray for God’s wisdom and grace to cover this situation and the provision of all the needed assistance.
