     Together we pray . . .
     LORD Jesus, we have learned so much from Your life on earth and the many wise words You shared with Your people.  Now it is time to start digging deeper into the lessons we need to learn from You in the complexities of John’s book, the Revelation of Jesus Christ.  We think of the book as mysterious, but God has given us all of His Word to help us understand who You and He are, and how You want us to live. 
      We thank You for the instructions You gave to seven different churches, each with different characteristics, that we want to be able to take to heart and apply to ourselves.  Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, be with us always and have mercy on us!  AMEN
 

• Father God, we pray for Your peace and provision for all of the celebrations of American’s 250th anniversary that are beginning now that they can proceed safely
• We pray for Dennis; and Roseanne Salonga’s son Jeff as he recovers from heart replacement surgery, for speedy recovery, safe treatment, and peace for him and his family
• We pray for healing for Pastor Lydia Rodriguez who being treated for an immune disorder which is requiring her to receive dialysis 3 times a week.
• We pray for the family of Pastor Nelson’s friend Mike Staples who passed away last week after a short but intense battle with cancer.
• Pray for Joy’s daughter-in-law Heather’s Aunt Kathleen, who just had surgery for lung cancers
• Be with Joy and her medical professionals as she begins treatment for Lymphedema and other problems with her feet
• We pray for God’s peace to overcome as there are attacks on Iran and a number of other Middle East Countries, and also in Ecuador and Cuba; pray for God’s provision and protection for all the people involved
• We pray that our lawmakers may come to an effective agreement to end the partial shutdown of Homeland Security
• Father God, we pray for Your blessings and grace to cover the people of Venezuela, and other countries also where living conditions are so difficult and dangerous
• Father God, bless and keep Larry with Your peace and healing
• Pray healing for our friend Shirley in Ottawa who is coping with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) and we hold her husband Stewart and their children in our prayers as they do all that they can to provide assistance and support
• Pray for God’s grace to cover Angela Vallis who is recovering from carpal tunnel surgery, for her complete healing and restoration
• Pray for God’s healing for Joy as she successfully finished the first part of treatment for her spine that is misshapen and painful
• Father, watch over all those affected by the wildfires in Canada and California, and also those affected by the smoke moving into other areas, that those who are fighting these will have the wisdom and grace to respond to the problems and protect themselves and others who are affected and that there will be no loss of life or homes
• We pray for God’s provision for all the situations throughout the world where there are natural disasters
• Pray for God’s justice and mercy to prevail as detention centers are being planned throughout the US to keep people being deported to other countries; conditions there are reportedly
• Pray for God’s wisdom and understanding for all of the lawmakers involved in making the decisions relating to continuing to fund the federal government for the good of the country
• We pray for Your comfort and peace in all the recent shooting death situations across the country
• Pray for God’s provision and wisdom and healing for all those harmed by strong storms bringing loss of life and much damage to homes and people
• Father, wars and conflicts are breaking out all over the Middle East, including Israel, Gaza, Iran, Syria and other countries, and we pray for Your peace to be brought into each situation
• Pray for God's healing tor Nelson’s friend David with medical problems relating to his heart
• Pray for God’s peace and provision as the war between Hamas terrorists and Israel continues, leading to great suffering and lack of all the basic provisions needed, especially in the health care settings, and food, water, and shelter areas
• We pray for Marcel's family members and others in Ukraine and Russia in dangerous situations during the war
• Father, we bring You all those suffering painful conditions of any kind, including Teresa, Lillian, John, and Joy

children/youth:  Father God, we pray for Your blessing on our kids as they finish school and look forward to different activities during the summer
