​​​​Community Prayer                                        September 13, 2026
        Father, You know that many of us hate to wait.  In fact, we may develop Plans A, B, and C almost immediately when crises arise. 
    Doing nothing, being still to see what You are going to do, is very hard for us to do. You want so much for us to be still before You, being full of faith, because that is the only way to be completely at peace in times of trial and hardship. What a gift that is, if we only do it.  
    Give us the grace we need to wait on You.  Your solutions are always just what we need. Thank You for Your loving care.  AMEN

• We pray for the thousands in Napal who have been victimized by flash flooding which has taken thousands of lives and have less countless people homeless. 

• We pray for the thousands in Columbia who have been affected by the disastrous earthquake.
• Pray for God’s provision for all those who are suffering because of the war in the middle east and the lack of oil for their normal purposes while the Strait of Hormuz situation is being rectified
• As the season of wildfires, and drought and intense heat progresses, we pray for God’s grace to cover all those who are fighting these difficult conditions and those whose lives and homes are threatened. We also pray for situations where there is a lot of smoke threatening damage, both in Canada, throughout the US, and in Europe and others
• Pray for Joy’s daughter-in-law Heather’s Aunt Kathleen, who just had surgery for lung cancer. Be also with Joy and her medical professionals as she begins treatment for Lymphedema and now curvature of the spine.
• Father God, we pray for Your blessings and grace to cover the people of Venezuela, Cuba and other countries also where living conditions are so difficult and dangerous.
• ​Pray healing for our friend Shirley in Ottawa who is coping with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) and we hold her husband Stewart and their children in our prayers as they do all that they can to provide assistance and support
• Pray for God’s justice and mercy to prevail as detention centers are being planned throughout the US to keep people being deported to other countries; conditions there are reportedly very difficult
• Pray for God’s wisdom and understanding for all of the lawmakers involved in making the decisions relating to continuing to fund the federal government for the good of the country
• We pray for Your comfort and solace to those who are victims of gun violence across our country 
• Pray for God’s provision and wisdom and healing for all those harmed by strong storms bringing loss of life and much damage to homes and people
• Father, we bring You all those suffering painful conditions of any kind, including Teresa, Lillian, John, and Joy
