Testimonials
Sacrificial Love
“[During World War II] [m]y father, a lawyer and a municipal judge, was wanted by Sagad [a military guerilla group in the Philippines] and feared for his life. He escaped to a province. But our family could not escape with him. We hid in mountain caves until Sagad found us and forced Mom to write a letter to Dad, telling him to return immediately or we would be killed. Because Dad truly loved us, he surrendered and was killed. We lived because he sacrificed his life for us.
Dad's act of love reminds me of what Jesus did for the world when he allowed himself to be sacrificed on the cross. I shall always remember Dad as my family's hero, but the world remembers Jesus as One whose sacrifice redeems us all."
