Cookies for Kairos
Pastor Nelson and Cesar Antezana represent Culmore Church in Kairos Prison Ministry missions at Sussex I state penitentiary in Waverly, Virginia. Kairos is an internationally recognized prison mission which has a transformational effect on the lives of many prison residents. Kairos Teams use up to 2,300 dozen home baked cookies on each mission weekend. That is over 27,600 cookies! Homemade cookies are a tangible expression of Christian Agape love which show God’s unconditional love and offer of grace for all of God's children. In addition, these home baked cookies serve as a key which can unlock hardened hearts to receive the Holy Spirit.
Pastor Nelson and Cesar are seeking volunteers willing to bake homemade cookies for the upcoming K-12 mission, schedule to start on April 17, 2024. If you would be willing to bake cookies, please contact Pastor Nelson by email [email protected] or by telephone number (703) 820-5131. The Department of Correction's cookie recopies and guidelines can be downloaded by clicking the document below. Pastor Nelson and Cesar are committed to one hundred sixty dozen home baked cookies. You help will be greatly appreciated!
