William Randolph (Randy) Sharp
July 25, 1934 – July 22, 2023
Entered the presence of the Lord peacefully on Saturday, July 22, 2023.
Randy played music all his life, touching many people’s lives along the way. A professional double bass player and amateur pianist, he taught music in Fairfax County, played in the NOVA symphony orchestra, led a volunteer orchestra, and volunteered in many churches and youth centers. A lifelong devout Christian, Randy often used his musical talent to rally people’s efforts toward doing the work of God’s kingdom.
Randy was predeceased by his parents WB and Georgia Sharp, and brother Harold Sharp (Sheila). He leaves behind his nieces, nephews, and so many beloved friends.
A funeral service will be held in the chapel at Everly Funeral Home, 6161 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA 22044, on Wednesday July 26, 2023, at 11:00AM. Guests may pay their respects beginning at 9:00AM.
